Holiday Home Tour: Part II
Hi! Happy Holidays!!! Today I'm psyched to be joining in on the Nester's Christmas Tour of Homes 2009. This is going to be big, people (last year when Boo Mama hosted there were over 900 participants!!)...head over and check it out, then settle in for some great holiday cheer, you could spend all day looking at these wonderful links.
On Friday I posted the first part of our Christmas decorating...spots like the foyer and kitchen. Today I'll show you around the rest of the place...and I'll try not to talk too much:)

Gorgeous photos!!! I love your silver stars on saddle stitch ribbon! And the REAL pine garland and wreaths must smell divine! Jealous. What a stunning tour! Great job!

ReplyDeleteJust love it all! I really love your understated approach to decorating. I think I always want to do that, but then the "cluttered crazy person" in me just starts putting stuff everywhere! I get totally out of control sometimes . . . well, according to Hubby!

Just so beautiful! You have some fantastic ideas that I would like to copy...sorry :)! I love the look and smell of fresh greenery! The outdoor branch is such a great touch (and the added ornaments are a bonus). I love the framed Christmas verse and the stars on the shower curtain...a wonderful touch for year-round!

ReplyDeleteCan I tell you how much I love what you did? The simple wreath hanging on the french door is my favorite. Oh, but then there is the square wreath on the four mirrors. And the metallic touches everywhere...yum! It is just gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteSarah - Oh me oh my....I am lovin that square wreath - it creates such geometric yumminess...must have! And I am such a sucker for mercury glass ornaments. I love your beauties...just in case you ever get sick of them and want to send em to a fellow blogger,keep me in mind, they would be part of a loving family in a disease free home that has experience :)

ReplyDeleteYour home should definatly be in a magazine. Seriously, you should submit some of these photos somewhere. I'm particularly loving the stars hanging from the shower curtain. I also copied down the idea of gift wrapping small boxes for my next years decorating. Thanks for the idea!
