My First Blogdate!!
Hey! Happy Friday:)
Last night, for the first time, I got to meet blog friends in person!! Casey of loft and cottage hosted a stella & dot jewelry party at her beautiful home (just west of Boston) and I was so thrilled to be invited. (The stella & dot jewelry was gorgeous! I had a tough time deciding what to buy - I really wanted this stunner - maybe next time - but finally settled on this really cool bangly bracelet.)
Carrie, of Hazardous Design, drove up from Providence for the party too. I loved getting a chance to meet and talk shop with these girls. Of course, Casey took us on a tour of her hundred-year-old house that she's been renovating over the last four years. She's done an amazing job! I also really enjoyed seeing the office/creative space of a real interior designer!! Just the fabric swatches she had lying around were making me jealous;)
Here we are lounging on the new daybed that Casey just finished making...isn't it awesome?! It fits perfectly in this nook nestled in between the windows. (Check out the daybed after we got threw with it here!)
Now, let's focus on what's really important here... the throw pillows Casey made herself!
Urgghh, I wish I could sew! Darn you and your sewing ways, Casey! See how much you like your new pillow when I hit you with it;)
Thanks so much for having us, Casey! Carrie, it was wonderful to meet you and I can't wait until we can all meet up again:)
Have you guys met any other bloggers or online buddies in real life?
